Meet Our Newly Named Baby Capys!
Global Wildlife Center is thrilled to introduce Tot and Bruno’s second litter of pups, 3 boys and 1 little girl, all now proudly named! With four new little capybaras joining the family, our herd now includes Tot and Bruno, their first litter from November 2024 (Babs, Milo, and Otis), and their newly named pups born June 13th! These precocious little pups share a birthday with Kameel, our oldest giraffe and the first giraffe ever born at Global Wildlife Center.
Officially introducing…Tater, Frenchie, Nugget, and Chip!
You can meet our newest pups and the rest of their herd in our Capybara Creativity Encounters at Global Wildlife Center! These new little artists are already learning the ropes – eating from guests, stepping onto canvases, and rolling over for belly-rubs and scratches. They are absolutely adorable, making little squeaks and pips and generally loving the capy life! Personality-wise, these sweethearts have very distinct differences. The smallest pup is a bit shy, one is VERY food-motivated, and one craves the cuddles and is very affection-motivated! The fourth was born with a little white spot on his head, so you can always pick him out of the herd! All of them enjoy meeting our guests, eating bamboo, looking for new things to explore, and hanging out with their family.
A huge thank-you to everyone who joined in the fun and helped us choose the perfect names for our baby capybaras! Come meet these babies yourself during a Capybara Creativity Encounter and enjoy some Happy Capy Fun! Reservations are required for the Capybara Creativity Encounter Thursday–Sunday.
